With the launch of the new Tiger Lake processors, ASUS was one of the first manufacturers to present its new laptop line-up at the at the ASUS Built For Brilliance virtual event.
Featuring up to 11th-gen Intel Core i7 processors and Intel Xe Graphics, the ZenBook S UX371 is an incredibly thin and light 2-in-1 convertible laptop that can be used as a notebook or tablet. The ZenBook Flip S is also the first Intel Evo platform certified ASUS notebook .
To be Intel Evo certified, laptops should be able to wake from sleep in less than a second, offer at least 9 hours of real-world battery life (with 1080p displays) and support fast charging ( four hours of power with just 30 minutes of charge), include Tiger Lake processors, Wi-Fi 6 and Intel’s new Thunderbolt 4 standard.

Design & Build
Measuring at just 13.9mm thin and with a weight of mere 1.2kg, the UX371 claims to the world’s thinnest convertible laptop with an OLED display.
The ZenBook Flip S UX371 looks elegant and well made, it’s entirely made out of aluminum and features a dark gray (Jade Black) color scheme with red copper diamond-cut accents.
ASUS ZenBook Flip S UX371 features the 360° ErgoLift hinge design, which allows the display to be flipped; it can be used as a notebook, tablet, folded to stand or as a tent.
The ErgoLift hinge is also designed to lift and tilt the more comfortable typing experience along while improving cooling airflow when the display is opened beyond 135 degrees.
It can also be flipped and placed flat on a surface and the display orientation can be rotated towards the viewer. According to ASUS, the hinge is durability tested for over 20,000 open/close cycles.
The UX371 features edge-to-edge keyboard with a 1.4mm key travel and separate function keys. The keyboard has LED backlights and is fairly visible in all conditions. There is no separate numpad here, instead, the touchpad doubles as a LED-illuminated numeric numpad with the tap of a button and supports up to four-finger gestures.
Ports & Connectivity
On the left side are two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with up to 40 Gbps bandwidth and a HDMI 1.4 port. The USB-C ports also supports charging and the UX371 can be powered using any standard USB-C charger or a power bank.
On the right is the power button and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port. In terms of wireless connectivity, it comes with a built‑in dual‑band Intel AX201 WiFi 6 (802.11ax) wireless network card and Bluetooth 5.0.
Display
The ZenBook Flip S UX371 packs a 4K UHD OLED touchscreen panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 and supports HDR.
The NanoEdge display has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 a response time of 0.2ms, supports ASUS pen and up-to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The display has a brightness of 500 nits with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, PANTONE and DisplayHDR 500 True Black Validated and is TÜV Rheinland-certified for eye care.
Performance
Powered by the latest 11th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, The UX371 offers with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD storage.
The UX371 packs a 67 Wh lithium-polymer battery and promises an incredible battery life of 15 hours on a single charge and can quick charge up to 60% in just forty-nine minutes.
